A super sleuth in qualitative research. With over 20 years of experience asking the right questions the right way, Diane Bloom knows how to get the information you need to make strategic decisions. She specializes in planning, conducting and analyzing in-depth interviews and focus groups. She has moderated focus groups across a variety of respondents and topic areas. Her work has ranged from evaluating and pre-testing materials for public health interventions to exploring factors influencing voting behaviors of state legislators to analyzing factors important to students as they select colleges or universities. She has special expertise in health care and pharmaceutical topic areas. Diane has also conducted numerous in-depth interviews with clients of law firms and other organizations, evaluating their impressions of the services they have received. Diane has taught Qualitative Research Methods to doctoral students at the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and conducts training workshops around the country on planning and conducting successful focus groups. As a focus group consultant, she works as an extension of your team to do as much or as little as you need.
